Tropical - Wampee
Wampee (Clausena Lansium) is a subtropical evergreen tree native to China, producing charming grape-like clusters of yellow-skinned fruit. When ripe, the fruit turns golden yellow with a thin, brittle skin that is easy to break open. A relative of the citrus family, Wampee is highly aromatic with a flavour that ranges from tangy to sweet depending on the variety. Rich in vitamin C, the fruit can be enjoyed fresh or used to make jams, jellies, and drinks.
