Tropical - Acerola Cherry

Acerola Cherry (Malpighia Emarginata) is native to the Caribbean and South America. It is a bright red cherry like fruit renowned for having 100x higher vitamin C content than oranges. It can boost immunity and promote skin health. Depending on the different stage of ripeness it can taste sweet with a slight acid apple like flavour. The tree can produce a number of crops each year making it a long harvest season.
